Descrizione
The Gold Tone AC-4 4-String Open Banjo is a great beginner model offering brilliant quality at a sympathetic price. Fitted with a pro-grade 11-inch Remo LC Frosted head and a Zero Glide string nut with built-in fret, this banjo is all about optimum playing feel, rich sound and as little maintenance as possible. To keep it well protected and looking fresh, Gold Tone even include a sturdy carrying bag with the AC-4.
The AC-4 4 String Open Back Banjo
Due to the open-back design of the AC-4, the material used to build it needs to resonate adequately. As such, the rim is made of composite; a lightweight and strong material with great sound reflection characteristics. This, combined with the okoume neck and blackwood fretboard, results in a bright tone with a satisfying level of volume that lends itself perfectly to acoustic sets and smaller pub performances. To finish, Gold Tone fit a dual-action truss rod in the neck, so any warping over the years can be adjusted and corrected as needed.

Mooie banjo, mooi geluid. Ik heb deze gekocht als instapmodel om Irish tenor banjo te leren spelen. Ik ben nu een paar dagen bezig met het leren en ik ben verbaasd door het mooie geluid. Wat ook fijn is dat na het goed gestemd blijft.
